TMJ

TMJ, or the temporomandibular joint, connects your lower jaw to the skull. This bone helps you open and close your mouth. Sometimes, patients experience a disorder of the joint call TMD. Symptoms include a constant headache or pain in the face, inability to open the mouth fully, clicking or popping sounds when eating or talking, and pain in the ear or neck.

If you suffer from any of these symptoms, please contact our office. We can examine your jaw to determine the right treatment for you, whether it’s surgery, retainers, or mouthguards to protect your teeth and jaw.
